How To Use The #80 Roller Chain & Sprocket Wear Gauge
First you identify the chain & sprocket pitch to confirm that you are using this on a #80 roller chain & sprocket, next you place the chain & sprocket gauge in-between the roller chain & sprocket rollers like the image below, it’s that simple! If the chain & sprocket gauge falls through and goes to the next size up it’s time to replace your roller chain & sprocket. Please note for this example we used ANSI #50 roller chain & sprocket.
