A hyphenated suffix indicates multiple strands.40B57 sprocket is a durable, premium quality, and precision sprocket that is manufactured out of high-quality steel. This sprocket is manufactured for optimum performance, durability, and to strict quality control standards. Something else that is notable about this sprocket is that it fully meets all ANSI Standards, which insures proper contact between the #40 roller chain & sprocket and sprocket which prevents premature wear or breakage. It is also black oxide coated which increases resistance to the environment and will prevent early rust build up. 40B57 sprockets with a stock bore comes with the standard 3/4″ inside diameter hole with no keyway or setscrews and can be easily machine bored to custom sizes.
